Shipping & Returns

Domestic Shipping

We ship Australia-wide with Australia Express Post for a flat rate of $15 AUD, with complimentary insurance included on all orders.

We choose to ship exclusively with Express Post to help minimise the risk of loss, delays, or mishandling during transit.

Estimated delivery time: 1–3 business days.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking number, allowing you to follow your parcel's journey.

All parcels require a signature upon delivery. If no one is available to receive your order, Australia Post will leave a collection notice and your parcel will be held at your nearest post office for collection.

International Shipping

We are happy to ship internationally.

As courier rates and delivery times vary depending on destination, international shipping is arranged individually. To request a shipping quote, please contact us at desertmonsoon.contact@gmail.com with the piece you wish to purchase and your delivery location.

Once a shipping quote has been confirmed, we will arrange Express International Shipping with tracking and insurance where available. You will receive tracking details once your parcel has been dispatched.

Please note that any customs duties, taxes, import fees, or local charges imposed by your country are the responsibility of the purchaser.

As a small business, please allow a little extra time during busy periods while we carefully prepare your order.

Returns

At Desert Monsoon, we strive to provide detailed descriptions and photographs so you can make an informed purchase.

Many of our pieces are handcrafted, vintage, collected, up-cycled, or made in small batches. Variations, signs of age, and unique characteristics are often part of their story and charm. We encourage customers to review all photographs and descriptions carefully before purchasing.

Returns are assessed on a case-by-case basis and are offered at our discretion.

We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind.

If you believe an item has arrived damaged or significantly differs from its description, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order. Approved returns must be sent back within 14 days of return confirmation.

Returned items must be:
• In their original condition
• Unused and unworn
• Returned in their original packaging where possible

Shipping costs are non-refundable, and customers are responsible for return postage costs. We recommend using a tracked postal service, as Desert Monsoon cannot accept responsibility for lost or damaged return parcels.
